“…Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord.  And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:  And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.”  (1 Kings 19: 11 & 12; King James Bible Version (KJV).

“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;  Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.  If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.  Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.” (Psalm 139:7-12; (KJV).

“Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!  Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.  (Psalm 31:19 & 20; (KJV).

Life in this physical realm is played out on a constant battlefield between the material forces of good vs. the material forces of evil.  Each and every day, these contrary dynamics bring into our experience some good things, and some bad things, as well as some good people, and some bad people.  No one escapes this dual environment…we merely learn to cultivate some material safety rules to avoid as much of the ‘bad’ as we can.

Yet, beyond the realm of materialism, there is a spiritual place, or dimension, which has other rules and truths.  Within in this realm, or state of being, our eternal safety dwells.  This place of safety is called, the realm of Spirit, or ‘the Kingdom of God’.  In this realm, the material nature of everything, and everyone, must bow down before the spiritual rules of the Creator.   For, when these spiritual rules are obeyed, only harmony can exist for those who have honored them.

To the extent that we practice following the spiritual ways of God, infinite Spirit, our daily lives begin to shed much of the materially-bad things we think, do, and believe in…the very things that manifest into various bad, physical forms and action.  And, as the material sense of creation begins to fade from our human belief system, it is replaced by the growing knowledge of our spiritual being.  Then the good of God’s spiritual creation becomes more visible, even in the material scene.  As this awakening change begins to occur, the bad side of material existence (i.e., all our bad beliefs and behavior that material existence claims to ‘give us’) continues to leave us, as our human experience continues to improve.

Now, as we transform our existence with our dawning knowledge of our own, spiritual Selfhood, our daily lives change for the better, even though we are still in the flesh.   More and more, our true, spiritual identities begin to shine through as the divine goodness of God’s creation begins to transform our beliefs and daily human lives into our innate, spiritual goodness and safety that we are releasing from within our own, deepest self.  This occurs because our safety always resides from within ourselves.  Our own human decisions and behavior patterns bring forth every step forward, as well as backward, that we individually take.

This mental transition from belief in materiality to spirituality occurs because, in divine, spiritual Truth, we are NOT the children of the finite, fleshly form; but rather we are the ever-lasting children of God, who is the divine Spirit which created and holds each one of us within this spiritual creation, rather than the false, material sense of creation we believe ourselves to be experiencing.

This is the very reason that Christ Jesus came into the human scene.  He came into the false, material sense of being (a finite, fleshly form) in order to awaken all his human brethren to their own spiritual identities.  When he told humanity to ‘follow’ him, he was speaking of the mental journey from the false, material sense of being, to our ever-lasting spiritual being.

When he died on the cross, and then rose up from his own physical death, he did so in order to show all of us, (God’s divine children) that our own eternal life cannot die.  Physical death does not erase anyone.  We are still alive spiritually, even though we ‘die’ in the flesh.  In the whole physical death scenario that Jesus played out he proved physical death to be a lie.  We all awaken from that lie.  Jesus was showing us that the only truth of all God’s children is that they cannot die, for we are ALL God’s own spiritual children, and as such, we can never, really cease to be.

Are you wondering how and why can this be true?  It can be true because no one and nothing can really kill whatever, and whomever, God has created.  None of us live outside of God…that’s why the Bible tells us, “for in Him, we live and move, and have our being.”  (See Acts 17:28, King James Bible).    It stands to reason.  We all live, forever, within that infinite Spirit, we call God.  No one has a body, or Mind, outside of God, who has all identities within Itself.

So, what is this human life-time all about, with fleshly forms and all the evils such as sickness, wars, poverty, and death?  I don’t really know the complete answer; but I think this sojourn in the flesh is a school, to teach us what NOT to do, and (more importantly) what NOT to believe in; for, whatever we believe in, we will bring forth into our earthly experience.  As the children of Creative Mind (God) we have the ability to manifest in the flesh whatever things we believe in, be they good or bad, right or wrong.  (That’s why it is so important, in this material sense of reality, to watch and live for the good and positive spiritual things, whatever the physical scene is projecting at any one time.)

Actually, the belief in material existence and a material creation is what we are here to rise above.  In this world, (material sense of reality) we chart our own courses.  Now, this doesn’t mean that we create diseases and other evil things.  For these material manifestations can seem very real, and can suddenly frighten us out of remembering the truth of God’s everpresence and sovereignty over all.   Yet, material ‘evils’, (be they sudden or long-time troubles) are still falsities that God did not give to anyone.  For, in God’s everlasting creation, there is no evil.  There is no negative side to anything.  Rather, we find the roots of ‘evil’ (lack of good) from within this whole world’s collective beliefs.

As a general rule, our beliefs in evil (as physical powers) seep into all our daily thoughts, until we believe in just about whatever evil is popular to ‘know’ at any one time.   Then we fear something, or some person, as a power over us, which causes our evil-belief to manifest, (take material form in some way) in our daily lives.

All the false, material beliefs in evil go on in our individual lives, until we finally awaken from our sleeping, spiritual Self, and remember that God is the only Power anywhere, anytime.  No one messes with God’s spiritual creation.  No one ever has power over anyone else.  But we must remember that through every bad moment in time that we endure.

When all fear over something or someone leaves us, the manifestation, or materialization of some problem will disappear from our experience, and normalcy will soon come through.  But the disappearance of fear is crucial in our healings.  For, if we’re still feeling afraid, or troubled, this shows us that we are still believing in a power opposed to God.  That false belief breaks the First Commandment, which says, “Thou shalt have no other gods (powers) before me.” (Exodus 20:3; (KJV).

This all-important command exists because, when fear is not conquered, the healing cannot come through…not because of God, but because fear is the opposite of faith.  And we control our own body’s health, or condition, by what we believe.  While fear is present in one’s belief system, this shows us that this false belief in a power opposed to God is present in our thinking.  This negates, from a spiritual standpoint, the whole healing process.  The only ‘power’ that evil has comes from our own belief in a human power of evil, when the only Power that exists in all eternity is the power of God over Its own creation, including all humanity.

Let me be a bit clearer:  There is only One Power in all creation, on any level of existence, in any dimension.  That infinite Power can only be ‘God’.  Within all creation, this One Power, One God, has all the Authority there is to have anywhere, anytime.  No other person, place or thing in all this false, material sense of creation can displace God out of Its own Creation, of which we are all a part.  All life lives within God.

In infinity, there is no evil.  In the kingdom of God, there is no evil.  In the kingdom called ‘Heaven”, there is no evil.  Evil means ‘lack of good’.  The entire Kingdom of God never lacks anything good.  No other kingdom exists besides the Kingdom of God.  To understand this spiritual truth is like having a golden key to Heaven’s door.

In this human experience, where good and evil seem to be twin powers, there has never been any other power except God’s power…the power of infinite Spirit.  This divine Power has never allowed anything bad to touch our true being.  Despite all our human, material woes such as wars, sickness, death and  lacks, none have been real to our spiritual Selves.  For, material existence is the collective Adam dream of materiality that has never even touched our true, spiritual selfhoods.

Every form of miracle ever experienced by humans on this planet occurred to those who have learned this.  God’s kingdom has never been compromised, or harmed.  God’s kingdom has never needed to be healed or changed in any way or form; for no spiritual damage has ever come to it.   It is a forever-miracle place for those who find it…and this kingdom isn’t all that hard to find; for, as Christ Jesus told the Pharisees when they asked him when the kingdom of God should come, he answered, “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:  Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (See Luke 17:20 & 21; (KJV)

This means that the ever-present, invisible kingdom of God’s eternal love is within our own inner knowledge.  God’s spiritually, invisible-presence, is still right here with us, even when we seem to be existing in a finite, material realm, with all its storms and  woes.

The storms of human sense may shake our world.  Yet, in the center of the material storms, there is a calmness which the storm cannot touch.  It is like a sign from divine Love reminding us that when human destruction occurs, don’t despair…this, too, can be healed; for nothing, and no one in God’s creation, is ever permanently harmed, for even human death doesn’t touch our true being.  When we remember this, a great deal of our peace is restored, despite any destructive material events.  For, all material, human disasters are only temporary for the ever-lasting children of God.
